We’ve been using Sprite for our WordPress content and I’m genuinely impressed with it. Before this, we’d tried a few, and had settled on RankTack, and while that had its uses, Sprite feels like a more natural fit for how we actually work. The biggest difference is that the content doesn’t feel like something we have to rescue before publishing. We do still edit everything, but the edits are usually light – normally just tightening a sentence or adjusting a phrase or adding a bit of extra context. Our team says it feels much more like polishing a draft than rewriting one. The absolute best thing is that Sprite seems to understand the site rather than just producing generic AI copy. The tone is much closer to our own content, and the internal linking is genuinely impressive – we’re not really sure how they do it so well. There’s no “it’s not just x, it’s y” or millions of inappropriate em-dashes. It does a really good job of producing posts that feel like they belong on the site (and we already know our users get value from the articles it has helped create). It is also practical rather than gimmicky. Once it is connected properly (this took us a couple of goes, but that was our fault!), it fits into our workflow and saves a noticeable amount of time without taking away editorial control. We wouldn’t use it as a completely hands-off tool – I don’t think we’re there yet, and we don’t believe that that’s how content should be handled anyway. But as a way to produce strong first drafts that need only gentle editing, it is the best option we have used so far. I would happily recommend Sprite to other WordPress users, especially if you have tried AI content tools before and found the output too generic or too much work to clean up. This one feels really well integrated, understands site structure, and is something you can actually use.

I’ll be honest, I installed this expecting to uninstall it within a week. We’ve tried most of them. Jasper, Copy.ai, Surfer, the usual suspects. Every time the pattern was the same: passable first draft, then two hours of editing to strip out the “in today’s fast-paced digital landscape” rubbish before anything was publishable. Sprite is the first one where I’ve actually let the output go live with light edits (or no edits), rather than a full rewrite. What’s different is the brand voice modelling. It reads our existing content first and then writes in something that genuinely sounds like us, not a sanitised LinkedIn version of us. The internal linking is the other thing that surprised me. It’s not just dumping keywords in, it’s actually picking relevant collection and product pages and linking to them in a way that makes structural sense. That alone saved our SEO contractor a chunk of manual work. Couple of honest gripes. The first article generation took longer than I expected while it built the site knowledge graph, and the onboarding wants you to connect Wordpress and GSC properly to get the full benefit, so don’t skip that step like I tried to. Once it’s set up though, it just runs. We’ve had articles indexed and pulling non-brand traffic within a few weeks, which is faster than anything we’ve shipped manually. More importantly the content is getting cited in AI overviews, which was the actual reason I went looking for a tool like this in the first place.
