Installation

To install the plugin, you can either use the built in automatic installer in WordPress or install the plugin manually.

Install the plugin in WordPress:

Go to Plugins => Add New => and search for: WP Date Remover
Press Install Now for the WP Date Remover plugin
Press Activate Plugin

Install the plugin manually:

Upload the WP Date Remover directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress

Configuring the plugin:

Go to Settings => Wp Date Remover
Select the categories you want to hide time and date in
Click Update
You’re done

Simple and great! It would be great if there was a solution to remove the date in the URLs generated by the WP system 😉

Hi guys I often don't write an review, but this plugin deserve a 5 star, I like this plugin because it has done his job in simple and easy way, I just suggest if you can improve it more to ad an option like disable the Author name as well, BUt any way I liked it so mush and i subscribed to your mail list to get any updates

Works very well. I tried many other plugins to remove post dates and NONE of them worked perfectly, but this one working.

I appreciate the fact that it is free and does *exactly* what it says. The problem is that it literally just removes the date so you end up with something like this: BY ADMIN · PUBLISHED · UPDATED And that could be fine, but if you want the entire thing removed, you'll have to do a bit more tweaking. Thanks for writing this!
